EEF Venues’ Engineers’ House conference venue in Clifton Down, Bristol is to host a conference on 14th June to support a campaign by Wood for Good to showcase how timber construction can help to solve the current housing crisis.
The theme of the conference is ‘The Self/Custom Build Timber House: Addressing the Housing Supply Challenge’ and is one of a series of conferences organised by Wood for Good, the timber industry’s communications organisation.








Researchers at the University of Gloucestershire have secured funding from the UK’s Newton Fund to work with researchers from Egypt and South Africa on understanding water and food security issues. The support comes from a British Council Researcher Links award.
