FutureBuild 2014 is coming to Sheffield City Hall, UK, on 5th-6th November! This exciting new conference focusses on the sustainability of housing, renewable energy and community energy schemes.
Sustaining Europe
With the EU promising in 2007 to cut carbon emissions by 20% before 2020, this conference will explore how focusing on the sustainability of housing can help the UK, and other countries within the EU, meet their targets.
The conference, in partnership with REGREEN, is set to attract hundreds of relevant stakeholders that work within the built environment, including local, national & European visitors. Visitors will include academic, industrial and political stakeholders as well as community-based visitors, banks and specialist accountants. FutureBuild 2014 is being supported by the University of Sheffield who will explore the usefulness of renewable technology in achieving local community objectives.
