Green Energy Awards nominations are launched
The south west's 'green' schemes are being sought as the 8th annual Green Energy Awards nominations are launched.
The Awards take place in Bath at the Assembly Rooms on 9 November 2011, alongside Regen SW's annual conference and trade show - Renewable Futures. The awards are the most prestigious in the sustainable energy calendar - recognising the best examples of renewable energy.
Merlin Hyman, CEO, Regen SW said: "We've seen over 2,400 exciting projects come to fruition in the past year and the Green Energy Awards celebrate the successes of these projects. We want to see the best in the south west coming forward again this year".
Past winners include: Ladock and Grampound Road Transition - 2010 Winner: Best Community Initiative; Forest Fuels Ltd - 2010 Winner: Supplier or Installer of the Year; Marine Designs Ltd - Winner 2010: Best Business Innovation; and SunGift Solar - Winner 2009: Installer of the Year.
"Winning Installer of the Year has been really beneficial for us in a number of ways" said Ellen Rodger from SunGift Solar Ltd. "It has helped to give our customers confidence that we are a company they can trust to offer high quality installations and a dedicated, personal customer service. At SunGift Solar we really do strive to offer the very best service possible and it is really nice to be recognised for this".
