It delivers high standards for Forest School set in the wider context of the environmental education movement, bush-craft, nature awareness and ancient technologies associated with this land.
Forest School is a long term, child-led continuous learning process that takes place over a period of time using a natural space. We aim to combine the Forest School principles with good outdoor learning practice, drawing on traditional and nature-centric models that provide ways of navigating and moving towards a sustainable and regenerative society.
This training includes standard Level 3 accredited Forest School Learning outcomes, approved by the Open College Network as well as practical and theoretical approaches drawn from diverse bodies of knowledge reflected in environmental and earth-based thinking from the U.K and beyond.
