Civils supplier for Scottish Water

Good news for Scottish Water, its delivery partners and sub-contractors: we're now an approved 'framework supplier' for civils materials. By offering Scottish Water preferential material prices, we put contractors on a level playing field when tendering for business.

Scottish Water chooses Keyline as an official supplier

Scottish Water has just named Keyline as a 'framework supplier' for the 'provision and supply of civils materials'. That's a roundabout way of saying that we've hammered out a schedule of highly competitive prices on a range of materials that Scottish Water contractors and sub-contractors regularly use.

It's good news for Scottish Water and for its contractors. Scottish Water is guaranteed extremely good prices on civils materials throughout the four-year contract term. Contractors and sub-contractors know that they will now be on a level playing field when it comes to tendering. Since all tenders will be basing quotes on the same low materials costs, they have a better chance of securing the contract on the strength of their professionalism and track record.

Contractors won't have to worry about supplies and deliveries either, with a delivery service you can depend on supported by a nationwide network of branches. Our credentials are supported by our experience in supplying utility and civil engineering projects, big and small.

The materials covered by the framework agreement are: concrete drainage pipework and manhole rings, uPVC  sewer and surface water drainage, repair couplings, geogrids, geotextiles, and hard landscaping concrete products. They all come at mandatory Scottish Water prices!

Our branches also offer a comprehensive range of building and civils materials that are outside the framework agreement. They are as readily available as the framework materials and equally well supported by our in-house technical expertise.

Four years of intensive capital expenditure

Between now and 2015, Scottish Water will be investing £2.5bn in raising the quality of drinking water, protecting the natural environment, and improving water supply. Much of that programme will involve expenditure of civils materials. If you're about to tender for a slice of that work – or are planning to tender at some point in the future – you should be talking to us. The sooner you get in touch, the more prepared you'll be. Gary Donnelly, our Framework Manager is already speaking to many Scottish Water's Construction Delivery Partners and sub-contractors. But you don't have to wait for his call. To find out more, call him on 07712 878054 or our dedicated internal team led by Colin Rae on 0141 420 3333
