Scotframe goes green with BM TRADA Certification

Environment UK Scotframe goes green1Scotframe Timber Engineering Ltd has achieved a hat trick with BM TRADA Certification Ltd  – gaining ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management as well as FSC and PEFC chain of custody certification in the last two months.

Environment UK Scotframe goes green2Established in 1989 at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, Scotframe has built its success, according to Marketing Manager Peter Hall, ‘on forming long-term relationships with our clients and being regarded by them as an essential part of their business process. Our commitment to the environment is equally long-term, hence our decision to seek ISO 14001 and chain of custody certification.’

Staff throughout the business embraced the process, he added, ‘It was something they could all relate to and be part of. By the same token, we are adding value to our products and service offerings to clients and demonstrating to our suppliers that we stand by the same high standards of delivery that we expect from them.’

Scotframe provides a ‘one-stop shop’, not only for co-ordinating the manufacture and delivery of the timber frame structure, but also the supply of windows, doors and all other fittings and finishings, to offer as many prefabricated components as possible, saving time and reducing the risks of error and waste on site.
