Retro Expo and the Retrofit Roadshows
With the launch of The Green Deal and the roll out of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) retrofit represents the biggest commercial opportunity in decades. Retro Expo and the Retrofit Roadshows will take you straight to the heart of a fast emerging community.
Taking place in the following UK’s retrofit hotspots, the Retrofit Roadshows will be exploring solutions that can make retrofit scalable and effective across the domestic and commercial sectors.

Delivered in partnership with Liverpool City Region, Birmingham Energy Savers, Warm Up North, the Welsh Government and the Institute for Sustainability the roadshow programme features a Domestic Stream, primarily aimed at Registered Providers and local authorities, and a Non Domestic Stream, targeted at building owners and occupiers. Regional solutions making retrofit scalable and effective across the domestic and commercial sectors will also be explored. Breakout sessions will cover clinics organised by leading associations and membership bodies:
- Retrofit to Tackle Fuel Poverty, National Energy Action
- Engaging SMEs, Federation of Master Builders
- Developing Supply Chains, Energy Efficient Partnership for Buildings
- Strategies to Tackle Traditional Buildings – Sustainable Traditional Building Association

Retro Expo, at the NEC, Birmingham from 05 - 06 November 2013, is the UK’s largest exhibition and conference dedicated to energy efficient retrofit & refurbishment. Delivered in partnership with the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings highlights include:
