The Languedoc-Roussillon Region creates synergies on Ecobuild 2010
 
  The Southern French Pavilion will stage again at ECOBUILD (London, 02-04th March 2010) and showcase innovative companies in the field of environmentally friendly construction. This initiative is supported by Sud de France Export, London Branch.

Ecobuild is the world’s leading event for the sustainable design, construction and built environment sector. Driven by an ambition to achieve maximum energy savings in buildings, the participating French companies will be putting the spotlight on a range of eco-friendly building solutions, which they have successfully pioneered and promoted.

Around 10 ‘green’ construction companies and local authorities from South of France will be exhibiting at the Ecobuild trade show, which is being held in London from 02 to 04 March 2010, and will be part of the French Pavilion (Earls Court 1 — booth N°1482), with the backing of Sud de France Export, London Branch, the Southern French Trade Commission in the UK.

Sud de France Export, from across the construction sector, will support its regional enterprises and provide dedicated business and technological projects around Ecobuild show 2010. The London branch has a role to play in stimulating companies and local authorities to act through incentives. The positive response of the French and UK players will invigorate efficient collaborations and focused debate on the "Grenelle Environment Round Table", instigated by the French government.

ArchiMEDES company, is grouping architects and engineers specialised in solar energy and low energy buildings. Specialised in environmental building design and energy saving, ArchiMEDES carry on with its activities through research and development. His main product “SOS the Smart Window” has 3 international patents and received Gold Medals in BATIMAT and Geneva.

The low consumption of French in the new development called BBC Effinergie. BBC Effinergie ® has been created to identify new buildings with very low energy requirements contribute to the achievement of 2050: reducing emissions of greenhouse gas emissions by four.
